Grace Arts Live Dance & Theatre Production A coming of age story, THE FANTASTICKS, features two meddling, matchmaking fathers who put up a wall between their houses to ensure that their children fall in love, because they know that children always do what their parents forbid. Once the couple is united, the real drama begins! Featuring the beloved songs ‘Try to Remember’ and ‘Soon It’s Gonna Rain’, this production is a celebration of love, first love, lost love and ultimately true love. The show’s original off-Broadway production became the world’s longest running musical for 42 years! It is a show about relationships – especially Southern women’s relationships across different generations. In between their clever one-liners and snappy retorts, they reveal deep affection for one another and a strong support system born of shared intimacies.
