Other ways to help reduce costs on the road are keeping the RV at a steady speed on the highways instead of breaking and accelerating. Buy foods from a grocery store instead of eating out on the road. Not only will this save money, but also can bring families closer together by having everyone help cook the meal. The closer RV enthusiasts stay to home, the more they save on fuel costs and contribute to the local economy.
